Why Choose A Wedding Planner?

19th August 2020

Every couple wants their day to be special and unique and having planned well over 160 weddings, we have seen what works and what doesn’t. We help clients put their own individual stamp onto their day and even though you may have a wedding planner, this is still your day and we encourage you to personalise it to the finest detail, as that is what will make it unique to you. Here are our top 10 reasons why you need a wedding planner.

We are experts in our field

How many people have planned something as complex and as important as their wedding day before? It can sometimes feel like a minefield and feel overwhelming, so why take the risk with the most important day of your life? Wedding planning is specialised. We have had event planners book us because they know how complex weddings are to plan!

We can save you money

Simply put, its by stopping you making costly mistakes (honestly less is more!) and by shopping around for the best deal and negotiating with venues/suppliers on your behalf.  Sometimes it can be by stopping panic booking the wrong people or just solving a problem in a way you hadn’t thought about! We have saved some clients thousands of pounds!!

We can ease the stress

We will always have a plan B (and often a plan C and D!), we always ask that question that no one likes to think about ‘So what do we do if it rains??’ And planning in this country means we are always thinking about it… the UK is so unpredictable, but it’s what makes it so beautiful too! We have saved many a wedding disaster… just by having a plan B.

We think about the logistical aspects that won’t even have crossed your mind

We look at both the clients experience and the guests experience and having planned so many weddings so know what works and what doesn’t! We know the pitfalls to avoid and react quickly to solve any problem. On the day there will be issues, but you won’t know about them because we will have solved them! Clients love the fact that we know them so well by the time it comes to their wedding day, we know exactly what answer they would give to any question,  leaving them to completely relax and enjoy their day.

We don’t take commission

Every supplier we recommend is selected because they are right for you and your wedding, helping you through the minefield of choosing suppliers. We create an amazing team who all care about your day, we work with them because they are super talented, experts in their field, reliable and passionate about what they do. We don’t ever take commission for any supplier we recommend.

We have vast experience working with overseas clients

Clients who live abroad really value having someone in the same time zone as their wedding, it is really hard planning your wedding at a distance. So it’s really helpful to have someone who can be the linchpin for you, who gets your vision, who understands what you are looking for and can convey this to the venue and suppliers to ensure you get the day of your dreams even when planning from so far away. Just like Laura and Lee who lived in the UAE and wanted a humanist woodland wedding with tipi reception.

Creating your perfect day!

Clients often worry about who will make sure everything looks just perfect on the day, but because we have been at their side throughout the planning, we know what they are passionate about, we know what really matters and we then work to ensure that every small detail is taken care of… including that sneak peek of the room before guests come in, so they can see it is all just as they imagined… and it’s usually even better!
