When Joe Bunney and Ella Toone MBE entrusted me with our Full Wedding Planning Service 12 months before their wedding day, I knew this celebration would be something truly special. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure the day flowed effortlessly. Allowing the couple and their loved ones to simply relax and enjoy every precious moment.

A Luxury Wedding at Colshaw Hall, Cheshire

Nestled within the picturesque Cheshire countryside, Colshaw Hall is one of the region’s most sought-after luxury wedding venues. This stunning Grade II listed country estate offers timeless elegance. Immaculate gardens and exceptional facilities. Making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.

From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in the beauty of the venue, with every element carefully designed to complement the grandeur of this exclusive Cheshire wedding location.

Twelve Months of Seamless Wedding Planning

From the initial consultation through to the final dance, my Full Wedding Planning Service ensured every aspect of Joe and Ella’s wedding was expertly managed.

Throughout the twelve-month planning journey, I coordinated suppliers, managed timelines and oversaw venue logistics. I Created the styling concept and ensured every detail reflected the couple’s vision. Most importantly, I allowed Joe and Ella to enjoy their engagement knowing every element of their wedding day was in safe hands.

On the wedding day itself, my role was to ensure everything happened seamlessly behind the scenes. Allowing the couple to remain completely present with their family and friends.

Full Wedding Planning – Morning Preparations

The excitement began early as Ella started her wedding morning at the beautiful Owen House Wedding Barn, surrounded by her closest family and friends.

The incredibly talented Charlotte Tilbury team created Ella’s flawless bridal makeup, while Nala & Knot styled her hair to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful and filled with excitement as the final preparations began.

Meanwhile, Joe chose to spend a quieter morning at the family home before making his way to Colshaw Hall.

Upon arriving separately at the venue, Ella settled into the elegant Manor House. While Joe and his groomsmen enjoyed the relaxed surroundings of The Den.

One of the most emotional moments of the morning came when Ella was greeted by her wedding dress. Beautifully customised with a sentimental handmade heart and a veil lovingly embroidered by Joe. The personal touches made the gown even more meaningful and perfectly reflected their love story.

Whilst the boys enjoyed a few games of darts and ping pong before getting suited and booted. The ladies celebrated together with their favourite music, plenty of laughter and glasses of bubbly.

Throughout the morning, the wonderful Sally Rawlins Photography captured every genuine smile, emotional moment and behind-the-scenes memory. Preserving those precious hours before the ceremony beautifully.

A Beautiful Ceremony at Colshaw Hall

Soon afterwards, it was time for the moment everyone had been waiting for.

Joe and Ella exchanged their vows in the elegant ceremony room at Colshaw Hall, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The ceremony was beautifully led by the Cheshire East Registrars. Creating a heartfelt and intimate atmosphere that perfectly reflected the couple’s love for one another.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as they officially became husband and wife. Setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration ahead.

Post-Ceremony Celebrations in the Cheshire Sunshine

Following the ceremony, guests made their way over to Colshaw Hall’s stunning walled garden, where the celebrations truly began.

With the sun shining, drinks and delicious canapés flowing, guests enjoyed an incredible afternoon of entertainment. Live music from Chelsey Johnson created the perfect soundtrack. Whilst the talented Jamie Seagrave Magician amazed guests with his close-up magic, leaving everyone wondering just how he did it.

The relaxed atmosphere allowed guests to mingle, laugh and celebrate together, whilst Joe and Ella took time to capture stunning portraits around the beautiful grounds of Colshaw Hall.

An Elegant Wedding Breakfast Filled with Surprises

Guests were then welcomed into the magnificent Peel Suite, beautifully dressed by I Do Events, where elegant styling perfectly complemented the luxury surroundings.

A spectacular three-course wedding breakfast, created by The Cheshire Dining Experience, delighted guests and showcased exceptional local catering at its finest.

However, the entertainment didn’t stop there.

Throughout the meal, a roaming band moved between the tables, creating an energetic atmosphere that had guests singing along. While the incredibly talented Dean Mac kept the celebrations alive with fantastic live vocals.

Then came one of the day’s biggest surprises.

As the wedding breakfast drew to a close, guests watched a special video message from none other than Westlife, who wished Joe and Ella a wonderful marriage. Organised as a surprise from Joe for Ella, it was an unforgettable moment that left everyone smiling. Perfectly demonstrating the thought and love behind every detail of the day.

An Ibiza-Inspired Evening Reception

As daylight turned to evening, the celebrations continued with Joe and Ella taking to the dancefloor for their unforgettable first dance.

It was the perfect way to begin an evening that can only be described as one incredible party.

Creating unforgettable Ibiza-inspired vibes, Six15 Events delivered an electric combination of DJ, live saxophone and percussion. Transforming the dancefloor into a festival-style celebration.

From the very first song until the final track of the evening, guests danced non-stop, filling the room with energy, laughter and unforgettable memories.

It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary wedding day.

Bringing Every Detail Together
