Peckforton Castle
Angelina & Rob came to me looking for a luxury wedding planner that could provide on the day coordination. They required a little assistance in the latter stages of their planning and to also oversea and support them on the day itself. Fabulous Together luxury wedding planner was on hand to provide this for the couple. It was absolute pleasure to help them to make their dreams become a reality.
Angelina & Rob chose the imposing and historical Peckforton Castle, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, to host their wedding celebrations. Starting with a beautiful civil ceremony lead by Cheshire East Registrars followed by a wedding breakfast and evening reception for all to enjoy.
On the day wedding planning – Morning Preparations
Angelina & Rob both chose to stay at Peckforton Castle the evening prior to the wedding. So that their morning preparations could commence nice and early. On the morning of the wedding, Angelina surrounded herself with her family and bridal party. Occupying the whole of the 3rd floor of the Castle to enjoy this special time without worrying about seeing Rob or any of the guest.
The bridal party enjoyed some final photographs with Edward Umpa Photography before heading downstairs to prepare for the ceremony. The couple had chosen an autumnal theme for their September wedding. The great hall adorned with autumnal decor by their chosen venue dresser Woodyatt Warner, warm ambient lighting and some incredible live vocals from Lucinda Sings who serenaded the guests as they took their seats. The great hall felt cosy and warm, ready to welcome Angelina and her bridal party.
Post Ceremony Celebrations
The sun shone down on what was to be a beautiful autumnal afternoon at Peckforton Castle. The guests enjoyed drinks and canapes in the castle grounds, whilst listening to Lucinda in the background.
The couple chose to host their wedding breakfast in the imposing drawing room, where their nearest and dearest enjoyed an exquisite 3 course meal, under the autumnal trees and candlelight.
Evening Reception
Signature cocktails in the long gallery awaited the guests, after the wedding breakfast had concluded. The evening celebrations commenced soon after, back in the great hall. The DJ and dancefloor were set and ready, for Angelina& Rob to cut their cake, with Peckforton’s famous sword! Followed by their first dance as a married couple.
No autumnal wedding is complete without guests partaking in a sparkler or two. That’s exactly what they did, under the stars, in the castle grounds. Beautifully captured by their chosen videographer Love Story Lens The party continued, back in the great hall. Where all the guests danced the night away.
I came across Shelley through Facebook and booked a consultation call with her. At the time, I was only three months away from the wedding and wasn’t sure what kind of support I needed. After chatting with Shelly, I instantly knew she was exactly what I was looking for. She was calm, professional, and clearly experienced, which gave me so much reassurance. After discussing with my partner, we decided on her six-week wedding planning package plus on-the-day coordination.
From the start, Shelley was supportive and proactive. She helped me choose suppliers, gave advice, and guided me through decisions without ever taking control. Instead, she supported my choices (which is important because I can be quite fussy!). She kept on top of all the documents and planning details, and we even had an introductory meeting at the venue where she listened to everything I wanted and offered thoughtful advice. Throughout the journey she was emotionally supportive too; during moments when I felt overwhelmed and even had a meltdown, Shelly was there to calm me down.
On the wedding day, she arrived early, coordinated with all the vendors, and made sure everything went smoothly so I could stay stress-free. She even went above and beyond , helping me during the photoshoot, holding my dress, freshening my perfume, and touching up my lipstick and makeup. She felt like a big sister by my side, and I honestly can’t imagine the day without her.
Even though the venue provided a coordinator, having Shelly on my side was such a bonus. She communicated with the venue team, oversaw everything, and ensured my vision was carried out exactly as I wanted. She stayed right through to the first dance and sparklers, making sure everything was wrapped up perfectly before she left.
I’m so grateful for everything Shelley did. She was communicative, professional, caring, and absolutely amazing from start to finish. If you’re questioning whether you need a wedding planner, the answer is yes! and Shelley is the person you want. She truly made my day flawless.
