Travel In Style On Your Wedding Day

13th November 2019

You want the very best for your big day so if you have more than one location, your transport for you and/or your guests shouldn’t be any different. The wedding industry has opened up leaps and bounds when it comes to getting you about. Pretty much anything you can imagine can be done if you know who to ask! Here are just a few ways you can wow your guests by travelling in style on your wedding day.

Come fly with me

Helicopter hair aside, this is an undoubtedly cool and effective way of making an entrance to your wedding reception. Have your guests gather outside before the drinks reception and cheer as you land at the venue. It’s a thrilling experience and one none of your guests will forget!

Tip: Always check with your venue that a heli-pad is permitted on the grounds. Factors like livestock or hotel guests may pose a problem.

Will you guide my sleigh tonight?

Unfortunately not all sleighs come with reindeer, but a horse drawn sleigh will still make the perfect winter themed wedding transport for you and your hubby! Of course a snowy backdrop works brilliantly with this one but even hiring a sleigh as a prop to pose with is a great addition to your day.

Retro Routemasters

Vintage buses are on the rise as more couples want to party with their guests on these quirky double deckers. Most come with free corkage, personalised dressing and vintage tickets that you can hand out to guests. A great bit of fun and plenty of photo opportunities – a big yes from us!

Rock the boat

If your venue has a lake or river, a row boat makes for a very charming and romantic entrance. I personally like this one as it’s simple and will make your entire bridal party swoon as they see you sail to your destination.

Tuk Tuk away

Tuk Tuks are so much fun whether you have a spin in them or just use them as a prop for photos. They come in a wide range of colours and are easily dressed so you can personalise them to your wedding theme. Not only are tuk tuks widely available around the country but they’re also quite reasonably priced so we highly recommend them for something a little different!

There are soooo many options but we have noticed a huge increase in brides and grooms driving themselves to their receptions in vintage cars.

Here are just a few from the recent weddings we have done.

Whatever you choose, make sure you have something that reflects your day and is fun and memorable!
