Taline & Nic

Combermere Abbey, Cheshire

A fusion of two cultures, two personalities and ultimately two lives and what a way to do it!

It was a bold, bright, energetic day full of singing, dancing, laughing and loving.  An eclectic mix of East meets West that left everyone, including us, in love with this couple, this day and this wedding!

Taline and Nic wanted a truly personal wedding day which reflected them and their personalities.  Born in different countries and raised with different cultures they wanted to ensure that a little bit of everything that is special to them made it in to their big day.  Even Neo the cat made it on to the Save the Dates?

A key ingredient, their two home cities of Manchester and Beirut.  This along with their love of travel and living all over the world was best reflected in the bespoke stationery from invites to table names.  Each layer of their wedding cake a silhouette skyline of the three main cities where they have lived and passport cover favours for all the guests.

The Juxtaposition of the bold bright Arabic colours used to decorate a quintessentially English Country Garden setting worked perfectly. The floral displays were vibrant and dramatic and somehow highlighted the sense of fun that filled this whole day.

Music and entertainment is very important to Taline and Nic and as such it played a huge role in their wedding day.  It started with a gospel choir during the ceremony.

Then came a dancing and singing parade around the fruit maze to the drinks reception. A spectacular belly dance entrance with wings and fire palms led in to an even more impressive floorshow.

During dinner a roaming acoustic trio got everyone up on their feet and in to the party spirit ready to fill the dance floor as soon as the evening party band and DJ took to the stage!

With a sumptuous choice menu for every guest, specially designed cocktails, a pre- wedding BBQ and post wedding brunch what was not to love.

I’m sure this wedding will go down in the memory banks of everyone that attended.  It’s certainly going down in ours!  A lovely couple and an extra special wedding day.

Debbie, thanks again for all your efforts to make our big day happen. We keep saying that if we had to do it over again we wouldn't change a single thing. And we have you to thank for that. We put our faith in you for all the details of the wedding and it turned out perfect for us, better than we could have wished for.
All our best
Mr and Mrs Winn
