Rebecca & Shaun

Thornton Hough, Wirral

Sophisticated, elegant, classy and a whole host of fun is how we would describe the amazing wedding of Rebecca and Shaun.

This couple knew what they wanted, and boy did they deliver. From start to finish it was beautiful and elegant whilst remaining packed full of things to entertain their guests.

Rebecca and her entourage looked stunning as they walked down the aisle of the beautiful Church.  The chosen colour palette of blush, creams, navy and a hint of rose gold could be seen everywhere from the orders of service to the breath-taking floral displays.

A short journey in the Rolls Royce Phantom saw them arrive at their very own country house for the day.  They wanted the feel of the wedding to have a relaxed dinner party vibe.  Guests were greeted with champagne and canapes as they mingled and chatted whilst listening to the super talented pianist playing a range of classic and contemporary music.

As keen foodies Rebecca and Shaun opted for a Best of British menu, keen to use the best fresh local ingredients to create exciting choices for their guests.  A live jazz trio played as guests ate their first two courses whilst sat in the sumptuously decorated music room.  The floristry and venue dressing a true work of art all combining to create the luxurious, sophisticated feel that they desired.

Keen to do things their own way Rebecca and Shaun set up a fantastic dessert station full of mouthwatering British desserts for guests to help themselves to under the mammoth feature escort card blossom tree in the entrance hall.  Guests sat comfortably in the drawing room listening to show tunes on the piano whilst they ate dessert and sipped after dinner liqueurs.

Cutting the cake almost felt wrong it being such a beautiful creation but as soon as the photos were taken guests were filtered outside to watch the incredible pyro-musical firework display.

Whilst all this was happening, the music room had been transformed in to the ultimate party venue.  Tables moved out, poseur tables moved in, house lights down, party lights on.  Twinkling dance floor down and the scene was set for the night time to begin.  What better way to start the evening than with the first dance to a live vocalist who was to later join the DJ, Sax and Percussion combo on stage throughout the evening.  This party didn’t need to build momentum it had it from the word go and it didn’t stop all night.  There were plenty of tired feet taking advantage of the party flip flops.

What a wonderful wedding for a lovely couple.  It was a pleasure to be involved.

Hi Debbie
Thank you so much for your help with everything relating to our wedding! You were fantastic. I am certain it wouldn't have happened without you and not in such a fantastic way. I think it will take me a while to get used to not replying to your emails, not sure what to do with myself now....need to plan something else ?
