THEIR STORY

Extra support, expert guidance and complete peace of mind

Bekki and Cameron came to me around ten weeks before their big day. They were looking for a luxury wedding planner to provide extra support and guidance in the run-up to their wedding, together with on-the-day coordination so they did not need to worry about a thing.

The couple chose to celebrate at the incredible Merrydale Manor in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Their civil ceremony, led by Cheshire East Registrars, took place in the beautiful ceremony barn and was watched by their closest family and friends.

“

I found Shelley 10 weeks before my wedding when I was stressed out and miserable. Within one phone conversation I knew she was going to help me bring together the wedding of my dreams. Shelley was amazing and incredibly patient with me. She went above and beyond in every way possible and we honestly could not have done it without her.

She took away all the stress and misery that can come with planning and allowed me the mental space to enjoy it all again. Shelley was there the entire day and everything was just seamless. I could not recommend Shelley any more. If you’re on the fence about getting a wedding planner, do it, in particular Fabulous Together.

Thank you Shelley for everything.

ON-THE-DAY WEDDING PLANNING

Morning preparations

Bekki and her bridal party stayed at Merrydale Manor on the night before the wedding. They began the celebrations with a small gathering at the local village pub.

On the morning of the wedding, Bekki and her bridesmaids started their preparations in one of the bridal lodges within the wooded grounds, before moving to the main Manor House to add the finishing touches. Meanwhile, Cameron and his groomsmen enjoyed some time together in The Cave.

The Fabulous Together wedding-planning team took care of the arrangements and timings, allowing the couple to enjoy every minute of their morning.

THE ANTICIPATION

Ready to meet at the foot of the aisle

As guests began to arrive, Cameron and his groomsmen were ready to meet and greet alongside Toastmaster Ian. Bekki and her bridal party enjoyed photographs with Stella Photography in and around the Manor House, capturing the festive atmosphere. The house had been beautifully dressed for Christmas, creating a wonderful backdrop.

Bekki, little Nova and her three bridesmaids then made their way to the ceremony room, where 80 of their nearest and dearest were waiting in anticipation—and Cameron stood at the foot of the aisle waiting for his beautiful bride.

THE CEREMONY

An intimate and very personal “I do”

The civil ceremony was led by the wonderful Cheshire East Registrars. It began with a surprise recording of the couple’s daughter Nova telling her daddy to “get ready”.

Bekki walked down the aisle to music performed by Becky and Josh Acoustic Duo, as their guests watched the couple say “I do” in the most intimate and special way.

POST-CEREMONY CELEBRATIONS

Live music, personal details and a champagne tower

Welcome drinks and canapés were waiting as guests moved to the main bar. Becky and Josh continued the live music while Bekki and Cameron enjoyed some time alone and photographs with their photographer.

The Merrydale Suite was beautifully dressed by I Do Events. A black-and-white theme, spectacular white floral centrepieces and touches of black adorned the tables.

A three-course meal by Barretts Event Caterers was enjoyed by all, accompanied by more live music. Personalised cocktails named after the family dogs added a lovely, playful detail.

The wow factor arrived in the form of a champagne tower. Bekki and Cameron poured their first drink as a married couple before their guests enjoyed a vibrant cocktail and champagne hour.

NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS

An epic way to begin married life

Bekki and Cameron began the evening with their first dance as a married couple, beautifully performed by Becky and Josh. Their guests filled the dance floor as Girls That Mix took over and truly got the New Year’s Eve party started.

DJ, saxophone and percussion were the order of the evening. To welcome the new year, the couple surprised their guests with bagpipes—an unforgettable way to celebrate both midnight and the marriage of Mr and Mrs Scott.
