Colshaw Hall

This was a very special wedding for me to provide on the day wedding planning for. Ben & Jodie are friends of mine, so when they told me they were looking for a luxury wedding planner, to help them pull everything that they had planned together, it was my absolute honour to help them.

Ben & Jodie chose the stunning Colshaw Hall in the heart of Cheshire to host their special day. With a beautiful, intimate civil ceremony lead by Cheshire East Registrars. Followed by a fantastic wedding breakfast, ending their day perfectly with a live band and lots of dancing.

On the day wedding planning – Morning Preparations

Jodie began her morning preparations in the Bridal Lodge, having spent the night before there with her Bridesmaids and Mum. Finishing the preparations in the stunning makeup suite, within the grade 2 listed manor house of Colshaw Hall. Ben enjoyed some down time with his groomsmen in The Den. Where they enjoyed some table football and music, before meeting and greeting his guests in the Pavilion.

Once all the bridal preparations were completed, Jodie and her bridal party enjoyed some final photographs, with their chosen photographer Sasha Morgan Photographer in the tranquil grounds of the manor house. Before making the journey over to the ceremony room. 110 of their nearest and dearest friends and family were waiting to watch the happy couple say their I Do’s.

The bride and groom chose a civil ceremony, lead by the wonderful Cheshire East Registrars. Their ceremony begin by Jodie and her father walking down the aisle, to beautiful live piano music played by Benjamin Clarke The Wedding Pianist. The faint tranquil sound of the waterfall throughout the ceremony set the scene for what was going to be the most beautiful wedding day.

Post Ceremony Celebrations

Signature cocktails and bespoke made canapes were waiting for the guests in the walled garden. Beautifully served by Barretts Event Caterers, also accompanied by some Crazy Golf fun on the lawn by Crazy9 Golf. The sun shone down on what was to be the most beautiful afternoon at the Cheshire wedding venue.

The wedding breakfast soon followed in the grand Peel Suite, beautifully dressed by Kole Events. Jodie had chosen classic white florals with a touch of Gold to enhance the stunning white Orchids. Guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal, elegantly served by Barretts Event Caterers. The wedding breakfast concluded with a surprise performance from The Sing Along Waiters. Which saw the whole room up on their feet, dancing and joining in the fun.

Evening Reception

After partaking in some more Crazy Golf fun in the walled garden, guests made their way back in to the Peel Suite. Ben and Jodie took to the white star lit dancefloor to prepare for their first dance, which was played by their chosen band for the evening The Deps. Everybody watched on whilst the Bride and Groom enjoyed their first dance as Mr & Mrs Price, joining in with the dancing shortly after, continuing to party the night away in style.
