New Year, New Wedding!

29th December 2017

Halloween done… tick, bonfire done tick… Christmas done… tick, hello New Year’s Eve. Since its only two days until we start celebrating the end of one year and the dawning of another, we’ve decided to go all out on the sparkle front with our moodboard for the perfect New Year’s wedding!

Cool stationery

If you want your guests to be ready for the classiest, most fun New Year’s party they’ve ever been to then your stationery has to reflect that. Think Great Gatsby coolness with plenty of sparkle – this will also be a good indication for what’s to come!

Golden girls

Gold dresses are perfect for this look. Your best friends will shine all night and have the gift of fantastically flattering dresses that they can wear over and over again.

Your wedding isn’t just your wedding, it’s the party to end the year! You have to have some silliness and fun as well. I think a photobooth is essential for this type of wedding. It makes for a great guest book at the end of the night!

A Cake to outshine them all

Close to the big countdown, hand out your cake and champagne to toast the New Year and your new lives together. This will go down a treat!

Wow factor

You need the wow factor in this wedding but don’t go overboard. We’ve got a lot of gold going on here so we’ve got to tone it down with some black and touches of white.

Simple and elegant flowers

Peonies, some love them, some don’t, but we think they really work with this wedding. It’s a very busy look so fluffy white flowers will bring the simplicity and romance back into the wedding whilst still looking modern and fresh.

Dapper groomsmen

Make him feel dapper in black tuxedos to suit the black tie theme. Super suave!

Fireworks – duh!

Need we say more? But seriously, no end of year celebration is complete without a few whizzy bangs and lots of ooo’s and ahhhh’s.

And that’s it! We wish you the most fantastic New Years celebrations and look forward to seeing you in 2018!
