Lauren & Matt

The Palm House, Sefton Park

Classic elegance for a large and loving family was the order of the day for Lauren and Matt, who were the third generation of the bride’s family to get married at the beautiful All Saints Church in Rainford. It was made all the more special by having the groom’s uncle, the Archdeacon of Manchester, officiate the ceremony. We even managed to recreate some of the bride’s parents, wedding photographs on the day!

With a huge set of family and friends to cater for Lauren and Matt always knew that finding a venue that ticked all the boxes was going to be difficult but Sefton Park Palm House did just that. This spectacular space set the scene for everything to come. We did have to make a slight modification though, adding our very own panoramic marquee for the drinks reception and cocktail hour.

Our beautiful Beauford wedding car, the party time Hummerzine and the luxury executive coaches ensured all of the guests arrived in style! This wedding certainly had the wow factor. The white, silver, pink and tiffany blue colour palette was subtly incorporated into all elements of the wedding. The grand table arrangements and the glittering table linen added the all important bling! The festoon lighting canopy twinkled above the entire dining space, and the up-lit trees and roof dome created a spectacular look as the day turned to night.

The touches of tiffany blue were expertly brought in using the table stationery, cake pop place names, children’s goodie bags and of course the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses. The ultimate personal touch had to be the 5ft personalised letters spelling out Mr and Mrs Fray, which provided the perfect backdrop for the cake cut.

After a beautiful first dance, to the same song that was playing in the background when they got engaged, the 24ft twinkling dance floor stayed full all night. The guests partied until the wee hours only pausing for a trip to the ice cream trike or the cheese table for some midnight munchies.

It was an absolute joy to help Lauren and Matt bring their classically chic wedding to life!

We can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us. Not only did you give us our perfect wedding but you made it stress free meaning we could enjoy every single part of it.
After being together 10 years, we had been planning this day for some time (or at least Lauren had!) so had a good idea of what we wanted. At first we were sceptical and thought that having a wedding planner would make it feel like it wasn’t our wedding – would it be like we were attending someone else’s wedding? We couldn’t have been more wrong! Not only did you cater to our every need, you had the most fabulous suggestions to make our perfect wedding even more spectacular. We both work full time and, with Lauren being a self confessed ‘stress-head’, the guidance and support you provided worked wonders. This meant we could enjoy the run up to the wedding and for once Lauren was stress free! You even shared Lauren’s love for colour coded spread sheets! Even when we had a last minute ‘hiccup’ with our Pianist breaking his arm a few days before the wedding, you had already arranged a solution before we realised it was a problem! Nothing was too much trouble – no matter how crazy our ideas were! Debbie was recommended to us by our friends Katy and Mike. We were so grateful for their recommendation that we have passed it on to some of our other friends who are getting married in August – we are looking forward to seeing you again!
