An elegant wedding with a Mexican flavour
29th May 2019
WOW, what a beautiful wedding and couple. Having been together since they were teenagers, the two best men and MC speeches showed how much they were not only brilliant as a couple but how much they were loved by everyone.
The marriage took place at the pretty church down the road which flanked the River Dee. Our talented florist and team created their magic with huge flower pillars in the entrance and an incredible canopy of flowers inside.
The 11 bridesmaids looked beautiful, whilst our bride looked stunning in her Emma Beaumont off the shoulder gown and matching veil.
Guests lined the driveway of Jack’s parents home where the reception was held, hands filled with dried petals as the newly married couple arrived in a vintage car.
Rachael started the pouring of the champagne into the champagne tower coupes, whilst Jack decided to spray the crowd, much to their surprise!
Guests were then guided round to the back of the house where they were serenaded by a mariachi band, devoured mouth-watering canapes and as a special surprise were treated to a private air display. The quirky bottle seating plan tied in perfectly with the ‘spicy mexican’ theme, which everyone loved.
As family and friends meandered round to the main marquee where the reception design steals the show, guests are treated to beautiful tables adorned with lush blooms, gilded details, clear glass and pops of Tabasco colour; the pièce de résistance however, was the huge chandelier that hung over the top table which was encased in a spectacular halo of flowers.
With an MC friend and two best men now taking charge, the speeches flowed with heartfelt and funny words; the food was greeted with lots of superlatives, whilst the incredible singers who were stationed on podiums sang beautifully during the reception – sometimes even getting the guests up on their seats dancing and singing.
After dinner it was margarita hour, before the big reveal where the bride and groom danced on a twinkling dance floor with the band in full swing!
It really was a day that was filled with fun, laughter and lavished beauty. Cannot wait to see the official photos and video.
