Amy & Jonnie

Private Marquee, Lancashire

Being exactly 30 years to the day that mother and father of the bride were married at the same church; and with a reception in the same grounds of the Bride’s family home, Amy and Jonnie’s wedding was always going to have special meaning.  However, it was also important to this couple that they did things their way.

Festival chic was the feel.  A stunning open sided marquee lead out on to the beautifully manicured gardens. On arrival guests sipped cocktails and champagne whilst being entertained by a truly amazing flamenco duo.  The first of many live acts to keep guests entertained throughout the day.

As guests were invited to take their seats for dinner, they were wowed by the magnificent hanging floral installation perfectly complemented by the eclectic collection of table centres.

They were then treated to a culinary extravaganza. A continuous flow of mouth-watering mezze dishes to perfectly complements the glorious summer’s day.

As a self-confessed sleuth even, Amy couldn’t believe that we had managed to keep the singing waiters as a complete surprise for her and Jonnie.  They brought the house down and had guests dancing around their desserts.

This wedding was full of surprises! Jonnie’s look of astonishment was just what Amy’s had hoped for as we lifted the reveal as she announced that his favourite singer was to play an acoustic set during the cocktail hour. The fact that Amy even managed to get Jonnie to do a first dance whilst they played made all the secrecy worthwhile.

Guests listened to the chilled-out songs whilst they sipped on espresso martinis and white Russians served up at the vintage Citroen mobile bar.

As day turned to night the twinkling fairy lights and abundance of candles came in to their own.  They worked perfectly with the party lighting to set the stage for the evening’s main entertainment.  A Blues / Soul / Rock Band ensured that the dance floor was full all night, let’s say the dance floor flip flops were very well received!

A cheese tower and mobile street food van kept the late night revellers well fed and the party continued into the small hours.  Just like any good festival should!

A truly special day for this fabulous couple.

Dear Debbie,

I just wanted to thank you so much for all your hard work in making Amy’s dream wedding happen.
Saturday was amazing and we have had so many people tell us it was the Best Wedding they’ve ever been to and commenting on the attention to detail.
You were incredible in ensuring that everything ran seamlessly and took all the pressure off us so that we were able to enjoy the day.
Amy and Jonnie are still on a high after a truly memorable day.
Dan and I couldn’t recommend you more highly to anyone planning a wedding

Kind Regards

Alison (Mother of the Bride)
